Photographing weddings since 1982, Howard Kaplan blends documentary, portrait and fashion photography in his approach to capturing your wedding day.

He meets with every bride and groom at least two times prior to the wedding; including an engagement session either in the studio or on location.

Howard received a Bachelor’s degree in photography from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA in 1990. He worked as both a wedding and commercial photographer in Los Angeles and Minneapolis until 1994, then returned to Detroit.
